Our client is a unique Australian artisan distillery producing distinctive and premium spirits.
They are one of the fastest growing craft distilleries with a diverse product portfolio including a range of Australian Botanical Gins & Vodkas; and rich and complex Whiskies.
The business is now wishing to appoint a Territory Sales Manager to help promote and support the range of products in bars, restaurants and bottle shop venues across the Melbourne area.
Based in Melbourne, you will be working as part of a small highly motivated team,responsible for establishing the company’s products, supporting our current customer base and being accountable to deliver on sales/activity targets and ensure continued growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing licensed venues, bars, restaurants and retail liquor stores.
- Growing the territory by identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities.
- Increasing distribution of the products.
- Conducting venue product training and tasting events.
- Implementing exciting activation programs.
- Be a go- getter and highly motivated by competition and delivering great results.
- Communicate effectively in a variety of settings regardless of the audience.
- Build lasting relationships with customers that set you apart from the rest.
- Have strong listening skills, identifying the key message in a communication.
- Be able to make decisions based on numerical data.
- Like to help others, you roll up your sleeves when the need arises.
- Enjoy autonomy and the ability to work remotely.
- 1 year minimum alcohol related sales experience, preferably in the B2B spirits sector.
- A valid RSA certification
- A current VIC driving licence and vehicle
