The Role:
This is an exciting full-time role for a Sales Representative in the Agricultural Industry looking for the opportunity to step up and prove themselves, with Australia's fastest growing fencing brand. Based at our Ballarat offices, you will be working alongside a fast moving, hard working, innovative and energetic team of young people that are leading a wave of change in the way rural stores sell fencing hardware throughout Australia. This role will involve extensive travel throughout Victoria, SA and TAS, with 2-3 days of on-road face-to-face selling per week, field days and industry conferences . This is a strenuous but rewarding role that will suit candidates looking to increase their experience and their renumeration while gaining Territory management credentials with a leading rural brand. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers, as well as developing new business opportunities. A readiness and courage to take on new methods and align themselves with Rotech's brand strategy and the company values will be the deciding factors for the successful candidate. A commitment to use consultive selling methods and the ability to sell a high value premium brand on its credentials without resorting to price cutting will be mandatory.
Qualifications
- Above average IT skills
- Confident but humble enough to accept constructive feedback and try new methods with a positive and flexible approach
- Team player, always conducting yourself professionally with honesty and integrity.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Be able to demonstrate verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in the agricultural industry an advantage
- Accept responsibility for meeting personal performance indicators
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ATAR
- Physically demanding job involving heavy lifting and handling large and heavy fencing products and shelving systems for store merchandise set ups - pre-employment Medical check required
- Will have had success in growing market share through new business development and expansion of existing accounts.
- Disciplined in planning, reporting and follow-up.
