We are looking for a Territory Training Captain to strengthen our connection to Athletes and Consumers by elevating training excellence in all areas of our business. Whether focusing on service, product, operations, or any other topic critical to Nike – the goal is to ensure teams are trained, prepared and confident to serve their personal best.
The Training Captain ensures a commitment to premium service and relies on a network of training professionals to ensure teams have the right information, skills and abilities to deliver on the high expectations of Nike Consumers.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
Partnering with Field and Store leadership, our Territory Training Captain will educate and inspire Athletes through driving Nike’s training strategies. This will be completed by determining territory/district training plans and needs, and then executed by leveraging existing training tools and platforms.
Measuring our success is vital to ensuring the effectiveness of training, so this role will be crucial in gathering feedback from participants and leadership.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
To ensure consistent and effective training across Nike, it’s imperative to work as a team. This includes Global and Geo Nike Athlete Experience teams, Field Leaders, Training Captains, Store Leaders, and In-Store Trainers. You will be part of a high performing Pacific Nike Athlete Experience (NAX) Team comprising of a NAX Senior Manager and Training Captain whom you will be working closely daily with. You will also work closely with the Product Specialist Team and Store Leadership teams to ensure content is relevant and is focused on achieving Nike Direct Stores Strategy.
WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
Our next Territory Training Captain will be able to demonstrate:
- Strong retail leadership experience (Assistant Head Coach or higher)
- Passion for training and upskilling others
- Ability to travel to other stores within territory and HQ
- Ability to participate in weekly meetings or conference calls
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
