Address Manual Test Analyst
Join an amazing government agency in Ballarat, currently going through different integration projects as this position is to work with System testing and related tasks across the projects . This is a hybrid role with 2 days in the office with an initial 6 and a half month contract role with a chance to extend.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Review and verify standard test cases / test scripts provided by the vendor to determine what needs to be modified to fit organisation and business needs.
Modify standard vendor test cases / test scripts based on the review from point (1) above.
Construct / Develop additional test cases / test scripts for additional customizations, interfaces, internal report testing (Operational & BI), data quality testing, etc., which are not covered as standard vendor test cases / test scripts.
Collaborate with internal and external project stakeholders to capture, analyse, and translate business requirements into solution specification and testing / acceptance criteria.
Participate in reviewing SIT and UAT plans and test cases / test scripts, to ensure business SMEs are aware of how and what they’ll be testing in UAT.
Carry out actual testing tasks mainly during SIT rounds, and support the UAT process (bookings, generating summary reports, attending triage meetings, etc.).
Carry out testing that is required for cutover / transition phases.
Carry out testing post Go Live for fixes related to reported incidents or defects that are raised mainly during post Go Live (Hypercare period).
Work in collaboration with the project team with guidance from the designated project Test Management Lead.
Assist with the setup and administration of testing tools, processes and systems.
Assist with the development of business process documentation, workflows, training materials, user manuals and other project related documentation.
Be autonomous and self-motivated, and actively seek out continuous improvement opportunities for the project.
Key Selection Criteria
Motivated and conscientious self-starter with strong organisational/administrative skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to enable efficient and effective project delivery and teamwork.
In depth experience with application Testing and Test Case Management/Administration, associated systems & processes.
Experience working within a cross functional project team is highly regarded.
