Seeking for a Test Analyst with extensive experience in Infrastructure applications.
We are looking for a result oriented, energetic Test Analyst who will be responsible for the delivery and acceptance of all aspects of technology infrastructure testing across multiple projects this includes design & develop test cases based on functional and nonfunctional requirements, test automation as applicable, executing test cases, defect management, and reviewing/approving test results including test metrics.The position involves maintaining a close relationship with testing staff as well as NSWPF business representatives. The position will need to ensure project deliverables are delivered to the agreed standard and are fit for purpose prior to production release. This position reports directly to the Project Manager.
Key Accountabilities:
- Customer Management: Ensure client satisfaction through understanding of business requirements, business processes, and deliverables.
- Test Coordination and Communication: Coordinate and communicate with the test team to assign and monitor test tasks, track and report test progress and status, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
- TestCaseDevelopment: Create and maintain test cases, data, and environment that cover the test objectives and scope, analyze requirements and risks, design test scenarios, and monitor and control the test execution.
- Integration Testing: Develop integration test scripts to test the end-to-end business process.
- SystemTestingProcess Management: Manage the system testing process during software upgrades.
- TestExecutionandControl: Execute test scripts in the Unit, System and Integration, Performance, User Acceptance testing environments according to the test plan and schedule, resolve issues, and ensure the quality and consistency of the test deliverables.
- TestEvaluationandImprovement: Assess and enhance the test process and outcomes, evaluate test results against objectives and criteria, report test outcomes, identify improvements, and propose and implement enhancements based on feedback and lessons learned.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as a member of a team conducting testing activities across multiple projects, contributing to the development and implementation of test strategies.
- Defect Management: Undertake Defect Management by managing the retesting of defects through to correction and acceptance by the system owners, monitoring outstanding defects using Quality Centre (QC) and JIRA.
- SecurityVetting: Participate in security vetting procedures prior to engagement and/or at regular intervals during the contract period.
- TechnicalExpertise: Demonstrated experience as a Technology Infrastructure Test Analyst with skills and experience in Client, Server, Network, Storage, Security, and Middleware in hybrid Cloud environments within large organizations.
- Defect Management: The ability to identify and resolve defects, problems in a system or process and managing the retesting until resolution.
- Test Automation: Proficiency in test automation and knowledge of scripting languages.
- Domain Knowledge and Testing Methodologies: Strong infrastructure domain knowledge, understanding of testing methodologies, and proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques.
- Test Case Design and Execution: Detailed experience in designing test cases, test metrics, test automation, executing test cases, defect management, including delivery of Unit Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, Performance, Failover, and User Acceptance Testing.
- SoftwareTestingTools: Proven ability to use industry-standard software testing tools including Quality Center and JIRA.
