We are looking for an experienced Test Analyst with strong experience in SAP Payroll System testing.
Location: Sydney, CBD (Ultimo) – Hybrid (2 Days in the office)Work Type: Contracting – 6 months initial contract (+ 6 months possible extension)
Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with specific experience in SAP Payroll and preferably some exposure to Workforce Management Systems (WFS), such as Kronos. The Test Analyst will be responsible for executing various testing scenarios, including regression, QA functional and acceptance, and end-to-end testing. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating with stakeholders to define expected results and outcomes. The ability to document test results meticulously for sign-off is also crucial.
Key Criteria:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant testing roles.
- SAP Payroll: Recent and demonstrable experience with SAP Payroll systems.
- WFS Experience: Preferably some experience with Workforce Management Systems (WFS), such as Kronos.
- Testing Scenarios: Proficiency in executing regression, QA functional and acceptance, and end-to-end testing scenarios.
- Test Scripting: Experience in writing test scripts and collaborating with business stakeholders and Business Analysts (BAs) to define expected results and outcomes.
- Documentation: Strong discipline in documenting test results and outcomes for sign-off.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate skills and achievements effectively during interviews.
- Execute regression, QA functional and acceptance, and end-to-end testing scenarios.
- Write comprehensive test scripts and collaborate with business stakeholders and BAs to define expected results and outcomes.
- Document test results and outcomes meticulously for sign-off.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings to discuss testing progress, issues, and resolutions.
- Contribute to improving testing processes and procedures.
- Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are advantageous.
- Proficiency in SAP Payroll systems.
- Familiarity with Workforce Management Systems (WFS), preferably Kronos.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
