Job Title: Automation Test Lead / Technical Lead

Location: [Sydney or Melbourne) Hybrid working 3 days office / 2 from home.

Searching for an innovative Automation Test Lead / Technical Lead to spearhead their automation strategies and ensure the core systems, mobile applications, and web APIs are not only robust but also lead the market in functionality and user experience.

The Role: As a brand-new position within the technology team, the Automation Test Lead / Technical Lead will be pivotal in shaping their automation frameworks and practices. You'll be at the forefront of automating their core applications, including mobile and various API platforms, driving efficiency, and enhancing product quality. (Please note we need extensive experience in (Java and Selenium environments)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks for core financial services applications, mobile platforms, and web APIs.
• Lead, Build and manage a team of automation testers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automation testing into the development cycle for seamless and rapid deployment.
• Ensure the reliability and performance of automation scripts, identifying opportunities for enhancement.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in automation, web APIs, mobile development, and financial systems to continually elevate automation practices.

About You:

• Proven experience in automation testing and people management within the technology sector, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong technical proficiency in Java, Selenium, or similar technologies used for automation testing.
• Demonstrated ability to implement comprehensive automation frameworks from the ground up for core applications and mobile platforms.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and grow a high-performing automation testing team.
• A visionary thinker with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for technology innovation.
