Join this organisation as an Automation Test Lead as they embark on an exciting rollout of the use of Playwright for their mobile and web automation. This organisation has just secured two large programs of work which will see you managing squads of 3-7 Automation Testers at a time. This role is 50/50 management and hands on.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, build, and manage a team of Automation Testers, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure reliability and performance of automation scripts, identifying enhancement opportunities.
- Estimate automation efforts accurately and implement reusable components for efficiency.
- Collaborate with project and operations stakeholders to understand testing requirements and scope.
- Integrate Automation Testing seamlessly into development cycles for rapid deployment.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for seamless execution and reporting.
- Assess risks and prepare mitigation plans for potential delays in Automation Testing.
- Monitor and report automation progress, software quality status, and test results, ensuring appropriate quality control.
- Identify suitable automation frameworks, tools, and technologies based on application requirements.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Selenium, Java, Playwright, JMeter, Azure CI/CD, and BrowserStack
- Familiarity with JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence, and Postman
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in API and mobile automation
- Non-functional testing experience preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders
