Test Manager – (Dynamics/Cloud Deployment)

Work for a reputable consulting company known for their delivery of successful projects to some of the world’s fortune 500 companies and government departments. This role is working for a well known brand based in Greystanes. You will be responsible for leading a consumer products QA group in a collaborative team environment. The role combines technical and management aspects and requires overseeing/ coordinating a team of Quality Assurance engineers in the field of Cloud service platform. You should have experience in working with geographically distributed teams and with external contract development resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide project leadership in test planning, allocation, execution, risk assessment and reporting to senior management
• Manage the test lifecycle of a cloud platform (PaaS) and mobile client applications.
• Supervises the team to develop and deploy automated test tools and frameworks.
• Understands and provide mentorship to the team in product assessment for usability, reliability, performance, stability and scalability.
• Build high performance teams by driving necessary recruitment and performance management.
• Identifying and resolving problems, determining improvements and implementing change in an agile engineering team.
• Understand, implement and improve QA standards and processes
• Improve testability of products in collaboration with development leads and managers
• Update job knowledge by studying trends and developments in quality management; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks and participating in the professional QA organization
• Effectively employ written and verbal communications to collaborate with business ownership, product management, engineering and user experience team members to achieve project goals.

Requirements

• Minimum BSc degree in science or engineering
• 5+ years professional experience leading a QA team
• 8+ years professional QA engineer experience
• Experience with cloud deployment
• Knowledge of Dynamics (bonus)
• Professional Experience in test automation tools and frameworks used for cloud services production and Mobile apps
• Solid understanding of relevant tools such as test management systems, bug management systems, code versioning
• Expert knowledge of developing end to end test strategies and plans
• Experience in performing system, integration and regression testing
• Experience in developing and maintaining test documentation
• Ability to identify individual team needs and provide guidance, support and coaching
• Aligning team objectives to business goals
• Demonstrable experience in leading projects of large scope
• High level written and verbal communication in both general and technology-specific applications
