The Opportunity:
This is an important role in which you will be responsible for the overall contract management and optimization of Holcim's 3rd party External Testing Services - delivering value for money, mitigating contract risks and implementing continuous improvement plans and creating a mutually beneficial partnership that drives success for both Holcim and the Supplier.
Detailed responsibilities are found in the Position Description which is available upon request and will include:
- Managing the end-to-end contract life cycle
- Undertaking quality assurance activities to ensure all controls, processes, documentation, and procedures are reviewed regularly and adhered to by both the business and the Supplier
- Ensuring potential disputes or conflicts are raised at an early stage with clear escalation paths for resolving them
- Collaborating closely with cross-function teams to ensure Holcim's obligations under the Contract are met and to ensure business continuity
- Reviewing the Supplier's performance against Contract KPI's and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Monitoring and reviewing profitability of the Contract and providing recommendations to senior leaders to mitigate potentials risks.
- Driving monthly and quarterly review meetings with the Supplier to address performance and service improvements (safety and quality)
- Identifying, developing and implementing business improvement opportunities
- Actively monitoring, analysing and optimising the contract spend by addressing any spend anomalies and developing mitigation strategies for cost avoidances
About you:
- Qualifications in Materials Testing or Contract Management or related experience in equivalent
- 5 year contract management and/or materials testing experience within the industry or similar preferred
- Extensive post graduate experience managing large procurement contracts
- Contract negotiation and management expertise
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
- Experience at working with broad stakeholder groups in complex national businesses
- Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills to drive business improvement and transformation across our business.
