Theatre Attendant

The Mildura Health Private Hospital is currently seeking a Theatre Attendant to join a multi-disciplinary team within the Perioperative Department. 

Employment Status:  Full-time and Permanent Part-time Positions Available

Hours: Up to 76 hours per fortnight

Duties:

• Theatre attendant duties involve transporting patients to and from theatre
• Under supervision, transferring and positioning patients on theatre table
• Setting up of theatre
• Maintaining cleanliness of theatre environment
• Care and storage of patient positioning
• Assist with delivery and storage of pack stores.

Key Selection Criteria:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to follow instructions
• Excellent organisational skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• The ability to prioritise work load
• Willingness and ability to learn all aspects of Theatre Attendant role
• Previous experience as Theatre Attendant (desirable)
• Short course certificate qualification in Theatre Attendant (desirable)
• Recognised first aid qualifications (desirable)
