The Role
This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our fun and collaborative team! We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse who is passionate about teaching to support and facilitate training and education in our busy perioperative department.
This is a permanent part time role (40 hours fortnight) that offers shift flexibility and personal development opportunities.
This role will see you become a crucial part in supporting all members of the nursing team, in addition to:
- Work closely with the managers and staff to deliver high quality education to our team across scrub/scout, recovery and anaesthetics and CSSD
- Provide support to new staff and graduates
- Work with staff requiring clinical support
- Conduct staff competencies
- Deliver face-to-face education sessions
Your Skills and Experience
You will be a positive and supportive mentor with a passion for sharing your knowledge with others and assisting in the clinical development of our nurses.
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a perioperative setting
- Previous experience in an educator role desirable
- Understanding of methods in assisting and facilitating learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessing (Or working towards)
Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $55.21 - $58.12 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC Nurses Grade 4A-B).

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
