We are seeking an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Education team. The role focuses on providing nursing staff with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to deliver advanced assessment and management of patients in the Emergency Department setting. The role also supports nursing staff undertaking study in Cabrini's programs, translating the theoretical knowledge provided by tertiary partners to the clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver, administer, and assess Cabrini's critical care education courses.
- Ensure that educational resources are aligned with current evidence-based practices, adhering to Cabrini's guidelines, protocols, and policies.
- Moderate, update, and evaluate eLearning activities to maintain high standards of educational delivery.
- Maintain collaborative working relationships with Clinical Support Nurses to effectively deliver and assess the curriculum.
Key Capabilities
- Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with NMBA
- Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Nursing (or equivalent)
- Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Education (or working towards)
- Accredited Advanced Life Support Provider
- Recent experience in an education role including the delivery and assessment of formal curriculum
- Experience in the facilitation of simulation
- Experience with eLearning technologies and/or learning management systems
- Ability to engage and maintain relationships with stakeholders
