Timber Roof Truss / Wall Frame Detailer / Floor Truss Detailer

Australian Timber & Trusses (ATT) has been a leading supplier in SE QLD of prefabricated Timber Roof Trusses, Wall Frames and Floor Trusses for over 40 years. 

A vacancy exists for either a trainee or experienced Roof Truss, Pre-Fabricated Frame, Floor Truss Estimator / Detailer of Timber Engineered products.

About the role

The role would entail primarily reading construction plans & using engineered programs to provide:

• Quotations and bill of quantities to clients.
• Final designs for fabrication in our production facility & preparing detailed information for builders on site.

Skills & Experience

• Competent computer skills 
• Problem solving
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually. 
• Able to communicate clearly with clients via phone and email
• Drive for continuous improvement

Experienced applicants should be competent in: 

Australian standards.

Mitek 20/20 and\or Sapphire experience (Or similar software). 

Engineer timber design software such as Hyne Design or Autobeam. 

Employees are offered the opportunity to work a 19 day roster with every fourth Friday as a rostered day off. 

Remuneration will be based on experience with excellent incentives offered.
