About the role
Join our team as a Time and Attendance Officer at Team Global Express. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the successful and accurate production of the weekly payroll, manage day-to-day processing, and provide high-level support to team members and stakeholders. Your responsibilities also*, ensuring goal achievement, and collaborating with various departments to implement process improvements. What you’ll do
- Daily Maintenance and Processing: Conduct daily maintenance and weekly processing of approved Time and Attendance data to meet critical deadlines.
- Auditing Compliance: Audit Time and Attendance data to ensure compliance with industrial instruments, employment contracts, and company policies.
- Legislation Interpretation: Assist in interpreting and applying new legislation affecting Time and Attendance configuration, including testing system changes.
- Front-Line Support: Provide high-level support to front-line people leaders in managing their workforce through the Time and Attendance system.
- Query Resolution: Investigate and resolve pay queries raised by the front-line team, collaborating with the Team Leader for ongoing query resolution.
- Training and Process Implementation: Support the training of front-line people leaders in Time and Attendance management and contribute to the implementation of new/improved processes resulting from project work.
What you’ll bring
You will come with proven experience in successfully delivery of Time and Attendance data solutions. As a self-starter you have a passion for data, a focussed mind and enjoy delivering to our team members, and stakeholders. Your relentless focus on results along with your natural curiosity and desire to continually will be critical to your success in this role.
- 2+ years Time & Attendance experience
- Demonstrated experience with working within systems and managing data
- Demonstrated experience working with multiple Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Ability to communicate to Stakeholders, Project and Development teams
- Capacity to see Process Improvement initiatives through to completion
- Ability to network with other Subject matter experts
- Business knowledge or experience in a similar industry
- Stakeholder management skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
- Collecting, calculating and entering data accurately meant for payroll system.
- Understanding of scheduling .
