Could you be the Track Maintenance Technician in Randwick we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your maintenance expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to the Maintenance Supervisor in Randwick and work alongside motivated and passionate teammates. You’ll support the maintenance of trams and you'll carry out preventative maintenance programmes and the repair of the Sydney Light Rail Track infrastructure. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Managers, Rolling Stock Technicians), you'll regularly monitor Track defects and failures, liaise with key stakeholders, suppliers and sub-contractors and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
- Maintaining Track Infrastructure in accordance with specified procedures
- Performing fault troubleshooting, investigations and diagnostic tests
- Mitigating the risk of in-service failures through proactive intervention
- Reporting daily, weekly on activities, problems found and measures taken.

- Mechanical trade / Certificate II or III in Rail infrastructure
- Experience in Track maintenance or transport would be advantageous
- Participate fully in all training courses provided
- Available to work as a continuous shift worker, on call.
