As a Roof Maintenance technician you will play a pivotal role in our team, our client provides a comprehensive selection of roofing services in Sydney and surrounding suburbs. Their of skilled and fully licensed roof plumbers are equipped to offer guidance, design solutions, and execute the perfect fix for residential roofing requirements.
This company is seeking a reliable and customer-service-driven Roof Maintenance Technician to join their team, the ideal candidate will have experience in both roof installation and maintenance, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to offering high-quality work. This position offers the opportunity to work on residential projects, contributing to the success and reputation of the company.
Key Responsibilities
* Install new roofs on residential buildings according to specifications and industry standards
* Inspect roofs for damage and perform repairs as needed, including replacing shingles or tiles, patching leaks, and fixing structural issues
* Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and functionality of roofs, such as cleaning gutters, removing debris, and inspecting for signs of wear and tear
* Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries, including wearing appropriate safety gear and following proper procedures for working at heights
* Estimate the cost of materials and labour for roofing projects, assessing the scope of work and providing accurate cost estimates to clients
* Interact with clients to understand their needs, answer questions, and provide updates on the progress of projects
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a roofer, with expertise in both roof installation and maintenance
* Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and industry best practices
* Professional and friendly customer service experience
* Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Valid drivers License
