Join our dedicated Parks team and play a crucial role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our active spaces. As a Tractor Operator, you'll be an integral part of this mission, ensuring our sporting and recreational areas remain pristine and welcoming.
In this role, you will undertake duties such as:
- Operate tractors and other machinery to maintain parks, sports fields, and public spaces.
- Perform mowing, slashing, and general grounds maintenance.
- Assist with landscaping tasks, including planting, mulching, and soil preparation.
- Report any turf defects/issues to your Supervisor (dry patch, disease incidence etc.).
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
- Collaborate with the Parks team to ensure high standards of horticultural practices.
- Respond to work orders and tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and local government regulations.
Qualifications & Experience We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience operating tractors and similar machinery.
- Knowledge of turf management and grounds maintenance.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and equipment maintenance.
- Valid driver's license.
- Relevant certifications in machinery operation (highly regarded).

- $71,007.56 per annum / $35.93 per hour (includes base rate + merit pay) + super
