About this position
An excellent opportunity exists for a motivated individual to join our parks team based at the Operations Centre in Maddington.
This position supports the parks maintenance team to ensure that all horticultural maintenance within the City’s parks, streetscapes and sports grounds are maintained to high horticultural standards.
Possession of a Certificate III in Turf Management or equivalent would be highly regarded.
What we are looking for
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant industry experience in horticultural and turf management practices
- Substantial experience operating tractors and utilising various multi-wing mowing and renovation implements in a turf management environment
Essential requirements
- Current MR driver’s licence
- White Card
- National Police Clearance (no more than three months old). Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
