About the Role

Due to a progression within our team, we are currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a driven sales individual to join our organisation as a Trade Account Manager based at our Mount Gambier site. 

The primary focus for the Trade Account Manager will be to drive business growth through sales of frames, trusses, timber, and building products while delivering precise and high-quality estimation services to our customers. To support K&B Timber & Hardware's ongoing improvement by concentrating on key result areas and enhancing brand awareness. Other key requirements of the role include:

  • Target sales growth with our existing customer base by diversifying the K&B Timber & Hardware offer expanding our footprint across the building sector.
  • Manage relationships with designated accounts by overseeing the entire sales cycle from quote to delivery of goods.
  • Liaising with our internal sales team to ensure customer requirements are being met 
  • Prepare plan take offs and estimation quotes
  • Streamline estimating processes including using estimating software 
  • Co-ordinate external services to complete plans as required

Skills and Experience

  • Strong customer service experience with excellent relationship building skills
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • The ability to multi-task and provide great service to numerous accounts 
  • Be able to prioritise your workload to suit customer needs 
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to provide accurate sales reports
  • Experience working for fast paced customer centric organisations
  • Experience within the building sector or retail are highly regarded but not essential
  • Previous experience with CRM systems
