The Trade Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting Tradesmen and conducting ongoing assessments of vehicle conditions to maintain contractual compliance.
Description
Joining the Maintenance Team in Wulkuraka as Rolling-stock Trade Assistant will see you:-
- Meet the requirements of a rail safety worker.
- Competent Microsoft Office applications - Word and Excel
- Open to working shifts - (if required)
- Skills using battery and hand-held tools
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Work in a team environment or unsupervised, as required.
- Knowledge and commitment to Safety ensure a safe workplace for all
- Following instructions to complete tasks, and the ability to work both in a team and independent environment.
- General workshop duties
You will work alongside a variety of other team members from other Trade Professionals and trade Assistants to Store People and many more, on this site.
Profile
- Hold at least a provisional driver's license and possess reliable transportation.
- Prior experience as a trade assistant worker or construction trade assistant.
- White Card
- Forklift license (beneficial)
- Possess a White Construction Card to demonstrate your expertise.
- Hold a valid Working at Heights Card to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate effectively within a team while also demonstrating self-direction and the ability to think creatively.
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and proud of the work you produce.
- Display maturity, honesty, and reliability in all aspects of your responsibilities.
- Must pass Rail Medical and Police Check
- Adhere to client's policies and procedures to meet regulatory safety requirements.
Job Offer
These are contract roles based at the purpose-built Wulkuraka Maintenance Facility. With this global leader, there will be plenty of scope for advancement. The pay and conditions will be as per their current Enterprise Agreement.
The role hours will be 5.30am start to begin with then progress to a 24/7 lifestyle roster. Penalty rates are applicable where relevant. PPE is also provided with Adecco paying the candidate every week.
Must be an AU citizen or Permanent Resident to be considered for these roles.
