BDS Mechanical currently has a permanent position available for a Trade Assistant to join our team in Gracemere. This is a full-time position that would suit a young energetic person looking to get into the mechanical field. General Duties will include but not be limited to: sweeping floors, keeping workshop areas tidy, dump runs, assisting tradesperson when required.

BDS Mechanical Repairs is a growing, privately owned business that offers mechanical, auto electrical and welding repairs both in house and onsite with 22 fixed workshop locations throughout Queensland. We have over 160 field service units and the team at BDS cover over 600,000 km2 of Queensland and parts of Western Australia, meaning we’re never too far away.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Must have Driver’s License
- Workshop experience an advantage but not required
- Keen to learn and be pro-active
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Extra skills, experience, tickets and licences will also be advantageous
