Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Timber Maintenance and Construction of all associated Parks Infrastructure.
- Foreshore Infrastructure Maintenance and Construction
- Installation of Parks Infrastructure
- Maintain equipment used in a safe, clean and serviceable condition
- Playground and recreation equipment inspections and maintenance
- Carrying out Measurements and Calculations
- Undertaking Infrastructure Maintenance
- Using Hand and Power Tools
- Carrying out Manual Excavation
- Erecting / Dismantling Fencing and Gates
- Controlling Construction Traffic
- Installing Parks infrastructure.
What you'll need to succeed
- Valid QLD Construction Safety Card (White Card / Blue Card)
- Proven labouring experience working on civil and/or commercial construction sites
- Working rights in Australia
- Two Working references covering the last 6 - 12 months
- Current Driver’s Licence and own reliable transport
- Ability to pass medical, drug and alcohol testing as required
- Additional tickets/qualifications would be advantageous.
