We are seeking a capable and proactive casual Trade Assistant to join our maintenance team. The primary purpose of this role is to support our team to undertake preventative and reactive functions aligned with site, plant, and equipment maintenance across our farm, feed mill and grading floor facilities.

Key tasks include:
- Undertake routine preventative maintenance and respond promptly to reactive maintenance requirements.
- Ensure compliance to workplace safety standards according to OHS guidelines, company policies, and auditing requirements.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders through appropriate & timely communication
- Maintaining operational standards and practices to ensure compliance with our Quality Assurance guidelines.
Desirable qualifications & experience
- A current Tasmanian driver's license is required.
- Experience working in a food production environment role would be advantageous.

This is a casual position. Work hours are generally between 7.00am and 3.30pm Mon-Fri, however, these hours can vary depending on the needs of the organisation and the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will require access to a reliable vehicle and their own hand tools. All required PPE will be provided.
