AddressDriveline Services Australia is seeking a Trades Assistant for our Launceston branch which trades as Dynamic Balancing offering a permanent full-time position for a regular 40 hours a week.
If you have the drive, we have the work.
This position will be involved in learning all aspect of driveshaft repair, assembly, welding, balancing and painting. There’s plenty of hands on learning to do (manufacturing and repairing tailshafts - automotive to industrial applications). The opportunity exists to train and operate manual turning and milling machines. You’ll have support from our qualified tradesperson.

What do I need to have?
- Full training will be provided so that you can work independently as soon as possible.
- A preference for hands on work – mucking in and getting your hands dirty. Examples of any previous work like this, will be good to hear about.
- Being motivated and energetic.
- An ability to safely and consistently produce good quality work.
- An ability to pick up new skills.
- A good eye for detail to measure accurately and ability to check your own and others' work.
- The ability to work safely and consistently.
- Self motivation in following all company Workplace Health and Safety procedures.
- Ability to work permanently in Australia.
