Are you our next Trade Composite Technician/Laminator?

We’re growing so we’re looking for a dedicated Trade Composite Technician/Laminator to be part of the Novafast team. The ideal candidate will possess a willingness to learn and expand their knowledge in areas within this industry. We want someone with excellent attention to detail and a focus on providing quality in all aspects of their work. A strong work ethic and ability to be a team player will be highly regarded.

A day in the life of being a Trade Composite Technician/Laminator at Novafast includes:

• Focusing on Pipe Filament winding with FRP mainly epoxy and vinyl ester resins for the manufacture of pressure pipes.
• Using industry leading equipment developed by Novafast in filament axis and robotic technology.
• Producing high-quality products.
• Assisting in the maintenance of workshop stock levels and cleanliness of equipment.
• Working collaboratively with our team and technical staff.
• Provide your ideas for improvement and suggest solutions.

We’re looking for a tradesperson who has:

• Experience and knowledge in the manufacturing or fabrication process of composite products - desirable
• Transferrable skillsets and experience from boat building, fiberglass laminating, manufacturing technicians, machine operators - essential
• Strong knowledge of lamination process (fiberglass)
• Strong eye for detail and a focus on accuracy and quality first time.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and pride in workmanship
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• The right to work in Australia.
• A current driver’s license.
