It helps create an environment that promotes a culture of good design in the built environment and one where people and businesses can thrive.The Role:This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Trade Data Analyst to join DTI’s Trade Policy & Analysis team. Working closely with the Senior Trade Policy Adviser, and Manager, you’ll use your trade and data analysis skills to help deliver timely, accurate policy advice to key decision makers. Your work will support a range of activities and initiatives across the Trade Directorate that seek to maximise South Australia’s engagement with key overseas markets, helping grow and diversify our state’s export economy.About You:To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate experience across the following key capabilities:
- Experience in data analysis and data visualisation.
- Proficiency in a range of software applications, especially Microsoft Office applications and records management systems.
- Good communication skills, including the ability to liaise effectively both verbally and in writing with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Able to exercise initiative while working under general direction and manage time effectively.
- Ability to use tact and discretion in identifying and managing sensitive information.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, using initiative to support the team, proactively applying relevant procedures to the work environment.
- Ability to continually seek to expand your knowledge and apply new learning as required by the role.
- Ability to undertake research and support data analysis and the delivery of projects that align to organisational outcomes.
- Experience in utilising software to manipulate and analyse data, and to present data in manner that is user-friendly and that supports business operations.
