4 Pines Beer, our range of great tasting craft beers. Spearheaded by our Pale Ale, Pacific Ale and our new Japanese Lager…have you tried it yet? So refreshing! But forget our more discerning brews at your peril! We have great aspirations for our subtle and sophisticated New World Pale Ale and our Nitro Stout is a cracker on a chilly night by the fire. Beer is no doubt our passion, but our other passion is doing Good Stuff…. helping our environment and our people. Whilst we know that beer alone isn’t going to save the planet, we have some ways to make every sip a step towards making a positive impact, and hopefully along the way we’ll inspire others to reimagine how they do business too. Brookvale Union, affectionately referred to as the “unconventional younger sibling”, the one who constantly gets into mischief and likes to push the boundaries. The brand was born as an outlet for the 4 Pines team and consumers alike to take a break from the super serious world, to let loose and to be themselves. Fast-forward to today, where the brand is still riding the wave of its early success, having cemented its market leadership within Ginger Beer as well as being one of the fastest-growing ready-to-drink trademarks with a highly envied brand portfolio sitting across multiple segments (tried our new Vodka Lemon Squash?!). As an official purveyor of ‘Quality Nonsense’, executing in the brands’ quirky, nonsensical, and fun tone is key. 

We are proud of our achievements on both brands to date, but there’s lots more to do! 

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a passionate and like-minded individual to play a significant role in the execution of our brands in the marketplace. This role will drive the cross functional engagement between Sales and Brand and ensure sales teams have all the tools to drive Brand experience, visibility, and conversion at key touch points. As an ideal candidate, you'll encompass all the 4 Pines brand values, deliver the occasional wizardry, and ideally have experience in the drinks or FMCG industries. The business is fast paced, ever evolving, time consuming and a load of fun. This makes this role challenging and exciting and the right candidate will need to think creatively.

What's involved:

Commercial acumen & reporting

• Trade strategy and planning.
• Understand and develop Trade initiatives to achieve commercial goals.
• Understand and develop Hospitality initiatives to achieve commercial goals.
• Report on the success of trade initiatives against pre-determined KPI’s.

 Working with agencies & external suppliers

• Create tight briefs with clear objectives and KPI’s for major Trade Marketing & hospitality initiatives.
• Source GWPs that fit to brand and have high consumer value.
• Build rapport with our existing supplier base.

 Project and budget management

• Put some structure & process behind execution with strong project management skills and prioritise ruthlessly to get the biggest bang for our buck.
• Manage launch plans across all NPD alongside sales to ensure optimal outcomes for our brands/products.
• Manage trade budgets directly and co-manage sales support budgets.
• Ensure 4 Pines & Brookvale Union are unmissable in trade executing marketing & sales driven programmes at key touchpoints.
• Develop and execute our national Trade Marketing strategy & plans across the commercial calendars, delivering against business targets.
• Work closely with 4P & BU brand teams to ensure our unique brand messaging, creative platforms & innovation are brought to life across the trade.
• Manage sales teams’ comms/briefings/priorities and equip them with everything they need to deliver stand out results.
• Continually evolve our approach in line with the market, our product mix and ever-changing competitive set.

Stakeholder management

• Act as the ringmaster between 4 Pines sales and marketing, to facilitate seamless execution at the coal face.
• Manage relationships with Trade Marketing, category, and sales across Asahi (PB, CUB, FEV) and all sub teams.
• Align sales planning with Sales Director and State managers and ensure our priorities ladder into wider company goals.
• Collaborate and build rapport with field sales teams to unlock the appropriate support and grow brand love.
