Job Summary
As a Trade Sales Team Member, you will be at the forefront of our Trade Sales operations. You will handle enquiries, offer exceptional customer service, and ensure smooth processing of quotes and orders. Your role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing client relationships and ensuring the success of our Trade Sales efforts.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to trade enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Prepare quotes, process sales orders, and refer dispatch bookings accurately and efficiently.
- Actively pursue sales opportunities and conduct follow-ups to drive sales.
- Issue monthly order statements and maintain accurate sales documentation.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by resolving client issues promptly.
- Collaborate effectively within the team to meet client needs and support company values.
- Participate in initiatives related to our future online sales to expand our market reach.
- Adapt to evolving business needs by undertaking new tasks and responsibilities as required.
- Embrace continuous improvement by identifying and implementing efficiency enhancements.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in customer relationship building and sales environments.
- Strong organisational, planning, and scheduling skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft 365 Suite.
- Understanding of or interest in learning about trees and nursery operations.
Desirable:
- Diploma or Certificate IV in Horticulture.
- Experience in a nursery or landscaping setting.
Location and Work hours
- Full-time 7am - 3pm, Monday to Friday. (37.5 hours per week).
- Located predominantly at our Bullsbrook Production Nursery, which is only 1km north of Ellenbrook and easily accessible from the Tonkin Hwy Stock Road Exit.
- A driver’s licence and a reliable car are essential as no public transport is available.
