About the role:
Keolis Downer are looking for hard working Trade Assistants to join our Maintenance team in the Northern Beaches! As a Trade Assistant for Keolis Downer, you will work as part of a team:
- Providing trade assistance duties on our modern fleet of heavy vehicles
- Carrying out routine cleaning of buses and depot/workshop facilities
- Using tools and equipment to maintain and do basic servicing tasks on buses as trained or directed by tradespersons
- Operating machinery including industrial sweepers, bus wash, commercial vacuum, lifting equipment, under chassis wash, pedestrian forklifts and pallet trucks
Role Requirements:
- Ability to operate cleaning and general workshop equipment
- Able to perform tasks of a physical nature
- Able to work cooperatively as part of a busy maintenance team
- Experience in a busy industrial or similar environment
- Interest in or have a general aptitude in basic equipment or vehicle servicing
- Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check, criminal history check and working with children check
