We are a locally owned and rapidly growing business which fabricates and delivers all types of metalwork to the ACT and surrounding region.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Yardsman/Truck Driver to join our dynamic team in Queanbeyan.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Coordinate and prioritise deliveries and pick up's
- Unloading and loading of trucks
- Delivering materials to job sites and suppliers
- Cutting of materials ready for fabrication in the workshop
- Work autonomously
- Workshop house keeping
- Organise stock for upcoming work
- Complying with all OH&S regulations and procedures
Skills and experience
Key skills and experience
- White Card (Preferable or Willing to Obtain)
- Asbestos Awareness (Preferable or Willing to Obtain)
- Silica Awareness (Preferable or Willing to Obtain)
- Current Drivers Licence (Essential)
- Forklift Licence (Essential)
- Truck Licence (Preferable)
- Excellent communication skills
- Willing to learn and upskill
- Basic computer skills
- Experience in a workshop (Preferred)
- Rights to work in Australia (Essential)
