The Opportunity:
Reporting into the Production manager, you will be required to assist with the upkeep and fabrication of Humes assets, which includes the following duties:
Repair and fabricate plant & equipment such as fabricating precast moulds
Mould setup for production of Precast products
Ensuring that moulds (Hume's assets) are repaired and maintained in accordance with the drawings presented by the Production team.
Observe Critical Quality standards and drive the effective repair and maintenance of plant & equipment to ensure reliability of production and care of assets
About You:
Trade Qualification in Welding
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in automated mechanical systems and handling equipment including hydraulic and pneumatic control
Previous experience in the construction industry would be highly regarded
A proactive approach to safety, hazards and Risk Management
Ability to work in a close team environment
