We are currently seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Trading Operations Specialist, who will play a vital role in the oversight and management of firm's post trade arrangements and platform administration.
What you'll do
Manage all daily post-trade Trading Operations functions through their full life cycle.
Platform maintenance and price monitoring
Corporate Action processing and reconciliation
Swiftly address and resolve client-facing queries escalated by internal teams
Maintain and update static reference data for over 20,000 financial products
Manage transfer process both internal and external.
Monitor internal systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Contribute to business development projects working with our multiple data vendors and counterparties to deliver business objectives
Reconcile hedging accounts with counterparties and resolve discrepancies as required
Daily oversight of regulatory transaction reporting requirements.
Continuously review and enhance operational processes. Identify opportunities for automation and implement streamlined workflows
Monitor key metrics and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Provide regular reports and recommendations to management.
Inter-department communication on cross-functional initiatives and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
What you need to have
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in a Trading Operations function
Solid understanding of post trade processes working within a risk and control framework
A positive attitude and a desire to keep learning
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Good understanding of financial markets and products
Great problem-solving skills to find smart and practical solutions
Proficiency with software tools, especially ChatGPT and MS Office
A team player who can also work independently and meet strict deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
Nice to have
Experience with Refinitiv, Bloomberg Terminal and SQL
CFA or other relevant industry certification
