$90,604 - $96,905 plus superannuation per year (depending on skills and experience)

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic engineer, who can provide evidence of their ability to be innovative, creative, and show passion around maintaining a sustainable city.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering, or equivalent professional qualifications or experience.
- Experience and knowledge in the interpretation and application of relevant legislation, codes, practices and standards relating to traffic and parking management.
- Experience in using traffic data collection hardware and software and analysing and interpreting the outputs to make informed decisions.
- Experience in community consultation in regard to traffic management and parking issues.
- Provide Traffic Engineering advice for the detailed design of all types of traffic control devices.
- Management of transport planning / Traffic Engineering consultants.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate, influence and motivate stakeholders.
