About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Traffic Engineer to join our growing Infrastructure team on one of our metro projects involving the design and construction of roads, structures, noise walls, street lighting and ITS and shared paths. To be considered for this position as a Traffic Engineer, you must possess the following as a minimum: Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Construction or equivalent Advanced Worksite Traffic Management Certification Relevant Main Roads experience in a previous role is highly desired Minimum 2 years experience working on road projects requiring Advanced Work Site Traffic Management Certification Knowledge of project management structure, plans, specification, standards and implications for project accountabilities Strong understanding of the Project Traffic Plan, Project Design Management Plan, Quality Management Plan, Safety Management Plan and Environmental Management Plan Effective time management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills
As a Traffic Engineer you will be responsible for but not limited to: Planning, designing, coordinating, implementing and monitoring all on-site temporary traffic management to achieve project time and budget objectives Coordinate and administer traffic management activities to ensure that works are planned and undertaken in accordance with plans, designs and specifications Monitoring temporary traffic management implementation for adherence to approved traffic management plans and report to the Area Construction Manager, Project Construction Manager or Project Manager Interpreting civil…
