About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking an Train Examiner for roles in the Pilbara. This is a great long term opportunity for someone wanting to get their foot in the door in the mining industry.
Must have accommodation in Karratha or Dampier and be available to start for training early August.
This will be an ongoing 4:4 day / night roster working 12 hours with potential for full time in the future.
Duties
This role is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a strong commitment to safety to be part of a collaborative team. This position supports the Rail Operations department and duties include but are not limited to minor maintenance tasks on the train wagons, wagon inspections, yard operations laboring and locomotive shunting.
Skills and Experience:
• Minimum C Class WA Drivers License
• Good Work Attitude
• Physically Fit
• Experience working in a hot environment
Preferred by not essential:
• Previous Mining Experience
• Mechanical Knowledge
MUST BE ABLE TO START ON 6th AUGUST FOR TRAINING (Mon-Fri) UNTIL 30th AUGUST then transition to ongoing roster
