We are offering a Trainee position in one of the following areas:
- Administration
- Technology
- Education Assistant
- Finance
The Role
This is a full-time 18 months position commencing as soon as possible.
The Trainee position is designed to support young Indigenous people in gaining experience and knowledge through work placed learning along with formal nationally recognised qualifications.
The successful candidate will be required to seek to learn the business of their team while undertaking tasks and gaining experience in the relevant area of their placement. The successful candidate will also be required to contribute to their team in a meaningful way that ultimately assists the team or school achieve their overall goals.
Selection Criteria
- Completion of Year 12 or equivalent study.
- Capacity and willingness to study towards (and complete) a Certificate III or IV in the relevant area of interest (example Administration/Finance/Education Assistant)
- Flexibility and the ability to work effectively with others in a team environment
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Outlook.
- Commitment to the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.
- It is a genuine requirement for this position that the successful candidate be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander as per section 50D of the equal opportunity act 1984.
