H&I Consulting are a leading company providing end-end engineering consultancy services for residential, commercial and light industrial projects for the Victorian market for over 30 years. We are rapidly growing and now seek an experienced administration professional that can lead a team of dedicated administration staff through this growth phase. We currently offer 3 days per week (employee choice as to which days) work from home and 2 days from office, however this will commence after successful completion of the 6-month probationary period. Your responsibilities will include: -
- Leading a team of remote admin professionals to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Focus on continuous improvement to improve efficiency and provide excellent customer service both to external clients and internal stake holders
- Plan and coordinate procedures and systems and find ways to streamline
- Recruit and train staff and provide on-going coaching and guidance
- Ensure the admin functions of the business flow smoothly and are coordinated with the operational side of the business and accounts team
- Manage office supplies and other external services such as document stations, external trades related to office etc
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Provide back up for accounts team - invoicing, supplier invoice approval, time sheet processing and payroll processing
