About the Role:
As the Information Technology Trainee, you will be responsible for the Business Administration and Data Manager for the operational effectiveness of Naracoorte High School computer related information systems supporting the administrative and curriculum needs of the school, and for providing support of hardware and software.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Contribute to and implement ICT strategy and policy provided by the Computer Systems Manager.
- Methodical approach to technical issue identification and resolution.
- Help develop and maintain technical documentation and record keeping.
- Provide ICT support/technical advice to staff and students.
- Undertake technical tasks and projects as delegated by the Computer Systems Manager.
- Support issue resolution via the ICT Service Desk.
- Assisting with new/replacement hardware/equipment installations.
- Assist with stocktake and tracking of assets and equipment.
- Supporting information systems and computing facilities for resolution of problems.
- Opportunities for continuous learning and skill enhancement.

The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
Trainee: $ 41,160– $ 42,725 per annum.
