The role involves providing a range of laboratory and administrative tasks to enhance educational outcomes for our students.Key responsibilities will include:

• Contribute to the effective day to day operation and integrity of the science faculty.
• Contribute to the effective and efficient administrative functions of the laboratories.
• Liaise with staff at all levels across the agency, and external stakeholders.
• Provide a consistent and effective customer service.

To be successful you will need:

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with adults and young people from diverse backgrounds.
• Comfort working with students, teachers, and external agencies from various backgrounds.
• Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrate initiative, prioritize workloads, and achieve outcomes within agreed timelines.
• An interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM).

Special Conditions:The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
