The role:

• Set up and management of a variety of work sites often within strictly controlled industry environments.
• Locate underground assets using a combination of electromagnetic detection equipment and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)
• Acquire and interpret DBYD plans and construction plans and drawings.
• Complete photographic and written reports for clients as well as other statutory paperwork.
• Operate a hydroexcavation truck to expose assets by potholing and / or trenching.
• Maintain company equipment to ensure exemplary presentation and highly reliable operation.
• This role is Rockhampton / Gladstone based but will involve regular travel across our serviced areas.
• The role will commence as casual on full time hours with a view to a permanent role for the right candidate.

The candidate:

• Enthusiastic approach to life with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and extend themselves.
• Quality written and verbal communication skills.
• Competence with PC based and phone/tablet based technology and applications.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Current Open Car license.
• Current Constrution Industry Blue or White Card
• Ability to acquire Standard 11 or equivalent and pass Coal Board medical or equivalent.
• Ability to work unsupervised and demonstrate initiative.
• Ability to travel away for work for regular short periods.
