Trainee Sonographer

Southern Cross Medical Imaging is a leading medical imaging provider dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and diagnostic services. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Trainee Sonographer to join our team and embark on an exciting career in sonography.

Responsibilities:

• Under the guidance of experienced Sonographers and Radiologists, you will learn to perform high-quality ultrasound examinations on patients across a wide range of specialities.
• Develop proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and associated technologies.
• Learn to accurately interpret images and communicate findings.
• Assist with patient preparation, ensuring their comfort and safety during the imaging process.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, following established protocols and guidelines.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

• Undertaking a degree in Sonography.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team and patients.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and prioritizing workload.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in image interpretation and documentation.
• A proactive approach to learning and a strong desire to develop your skills in the field of medical imaging.
