Skills Australia Institute (SAI) is a CRICOS Registered Training Organisation. We have been providing training to International students for over 6 Years.
We deliver courses in the areas of Hospitality, Early Childhood Education, Business, ICT Networking, Automotive, Carpentry, Bricklaying & Tiling. We have 3 campuses, 2 based in Perth and 1 in Adelaide.
The Opportunity
Due to our ongoing growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced and passionate Trainers & Assessors (Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Contractor) to join our friendly team at our Cannington campus.
The ideal candidate will be supporting the Training and Assessment of the following qualifications during weekdays/weekends:

CHC30121 - Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

AUTOMOTIVE
AUR30620 - Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
AUR40216 - Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis
AUR50116 - Diploma of Automotive Management
TELECOMMUNICATIONS
ICT60220 - Advanced Diploma of Telecommunications Network Engineering
CONSTRUCTION
CPC30220 - Certificate III in Carpentry
CPC33020 - Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying

The main responsibilities of this role are as follows:
- Using our LMS platform to deliver digital content while embedding your own unique/industry-relevant experiences to enrich the learning environment.
- Marking students' assessments and providing quality feedback.
- Arranging and conducting WBT visits.
- Ensuring up-to-date industry currency.
- Complying with industry-specific legislations and the requirements of the VET Quality Framework applicable to the qualification being delivered.
- Accurately recording, tracking, and reporting students’ attendance, results, and unit outcomes.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- Current TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
- Must have relevant qualifications at the level of teaching
- Current industry skills/experience in relevant industry
- Ability to follow RTO policies & procedures
- Excellent computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Highly organised and strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
