Role Summary:

This position primarily provides a customer-centric first and second-line support function to the workforce across DevelopmentWA which includes support, education and guidance in the deployment and maintenance of computer infrastructure, software, voice communication, audio visual technology and information systems.

This position is responsible for developing a training matrix across the business for internal systems ensuring staff are trained on critical processes and systems. This will involve delivering both online and classroom style training as well as sourcing or creating, the course content.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Develop a Training Matrix to understand the businesses training needs which is aligned to roles and responsibilities across the business
  • Develop standard templates for all training material
  • Work with the Management team to support the ICT Communication and Training Strategy
  • Maintain and update training register and user participation records
  • Ensure regular courses are offered on core system and key processes
  • Assisting in the development, refining and documenting of knowledge, processes and procedures as they relate to the items above.
  • Deliver induction and ad-hoc training for key information systems, software and Services
  • Provide backup for other ICT staff when training is required
  • Ensure all training material shows a clear link to business process and owners.

About you:

  • Proven work experience in ICT customer support and a strong understanding of Windows operating systems, desktop software and hardware, and SOE deployments.
  • Knowledge and experience with a core business system or ERP solution.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to competently engage with a diverse range of individuals across all levels.
  • Ability to create interesting SCORM Compliant Training Material
  • Ability to learn systems fast and liaise with the staff to ensure their needs are met.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and a commitment to providing a high level ofcustomer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to provide a high level of customer service.
  • Cert IV in training and assessment would be highly regarded.
