Trainer and Assessor - various positions available
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Trainer and Assessors to to join Training Ahead Australia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality training programs delivering high-quality training and assessment services for the construction and rail industries.

- Full time
- Casual
- Full time equivalent hours, half on site as a Protection Officer, half training.
Location
Positions are available in Sydney and in the Hunter Valley.
What courses you will be delivering
Training Ahead is currently looking for various trainers, who can deliver any of the following:
- ARTC Safeworking: Handsignaller through to Protection Officer Level 4
- RISI (Safely Access the Rail Corridor)
- Rail Infrastructure
- Rail welding
- Ultrasonic Testing
- Track Certifier
- Certificate II and III in Rail Infrastructure
- Track Vehicle Operator and Track Machine Operator
Responsibilities
- You will be delivering training out of the Sydney office and on site.
- Deliver training programs in accordance with relevant industry standards and regulations, leveraging Training Ahead Australia's proven methodologies.
- Develop and update training materials to ensure relevance, compliance, and alignment with Training Ahead Australia's standards.
- Provide guidance and support to trainees, fostering a comprehensive understanding of workplace health and safety principles.
- Stay informed about changes in legislation and best practices related to occupational health and safety.
Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent qualification.
- The unit of competency that you will be delivering, must be held.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various training locations as required.
- Minimum one year experience as a Trainer and Assessor.
- Minimum two years experience in the role you will be training.
- Passion for promoting a culture of safety in the workplace.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to upholding ethical standards in training and assessment.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
