About the Position
We are looking to welcome an Occupational Therapist to provide a mobile service to schools to enhance educational outcomes for children and young people impacted by trauma.
- Full time or part time opportunity.
- Level 6 under the SCHCADS award. Salary range is $102,555 to $107,080 (pro-rata for part time) plus super.
- Role is government funded until 31 December 2024 with possible extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide trauma-informed therapeutic services to children, in both individual and group settings, to enhance functional skills.
- Facilitate and strengthen supportive relationships between children and the key adults in their educational setting.
- Provide specialised developmental and trauma-informed consultancy to education staff.

About You
- A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Relevant registration and membership of appropriate associations for your discipline.
- Minimum two years’ experience working with children, young people and their families or at least two years’ experience working in similar roles.
- Experience providing individual and group therapy to children, young people and their families.
Other Requirements
- Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical exemption.
