The Role:
As a Trainer and Assessor at HERO, you will join a team of skilled educators with various backgrounds in health and education. Joining this expert team means you will be supported by a team leader and a quality and compliance manager. At this time in our HERO rebrand, we are experiencing rapid growth and transformation, so you’ll be training and assessing courses in CPR, First Aid and Fire Safety across Sydney and reporting to the CTO.
What you’ll be doing:
- Deliver exceptional service: Traveling to our clients across Sydney and surrounding areas to build relationships with learners, ensure their satisfaction, and provide a positive learning environment.
- Be an expert facilitator: Conduct onsite engaging and interactive real-world training sessions that meet the needs of diverse learners. Provide constructive feedback to learners and help them achieve their learning goals. Track learner attendance and assess competency outcomes.
- Stay ahead of the curve: Continuously learn and keep pace with industry best practices and standards while innovating new methods to increase impact.
- Be a team player: Collaborate with colleagues, participate in meetings, and contribute to the department's success.

To be successful in this role, you must:
Qualification/ Education: Hold, studying or willing to enrol
- Certificate IV Training and Assessing
- Qualification in areas of Health or Education
- HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid
- Working with Children's Check or equivalent
Availability:
- Must be available to work Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays
- Able to work 8-18 hours per week
- Available between the times of 8 am - 7 pm
Transportation:
- Holds a driver's license
- Has a reliable, insured car
- Travel is a part of the role and is partly reimbursed
Technology:
- Must have a personal laptop or iPad
