Stanley College is an independent Institute of Higher Education and Registered Training Organisation. We have provided training to local and international students for over 15 years.
We specialise in courses that address current skills shortages for several industries: Information & Communication Technology, Hospitality, Commercial Cookery, Community Services, Aged Care, Childhood Education & Care, Digital Marketing, Business, Leadership & Management.
Stanley College has 4 campuses, 3 based in Perth and 1 in Adelaide. We employ over 250 staff and have 3000 students from over 42 countries.
The Opportunity
Due to our ongoing growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Trainer & Assessor to join our friendly team at our West Perth campus.
The ideal candidate will be teaching students undertaking the Diploma of Business program. This is a Full-time position with 38 hours a week. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of permanency.
The main responsibilities of this role are as follows:
• Delivering training and assessment programs according to Stanley College syllabus and as stipulated in the relevant Training Package
• Appling a range of learning methodologies such as face-to-face teaching, role-play, practical demonstrations, and facilitated workshops, etc.
• Ensuring the training meets the requirements of the relevant Training Package
• Conducting the training in accordance with the principles of assessment
• Ensuring the training meets workplace and, where relevant, regulatory requirements
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
• Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
• Relevant business qualifications (Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor or higher)
• Extensive training experience in the vocational education sector
• Clear understanding of the RTO Standards 2015
• Well-developed leadership and communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
