Reporting to the Operations Manager – Mining & Telecommunications, the role is responsible for providing administrative support services for the business unit's NSW-based projects. This includes performing both routine and specialist tasks and assignments provided by the project teams as well as providing administration support to the wider business as required.

Who is our ideal candidate?
You are an experienced Administration Officer interested in a fast paced, multi-faceted role within a supportive team and high performing environment. You will be highly motivated, extremely organized, have excellent communication and use your logical and lateral thinking, to provide support to this Business Unit on a daily basis.
Our ideal candidate would have the below essential skills:
- Will have proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite including excel, word and outlook
- Previous experience working in administration role within the Construction industry advantageous
- Perform daily tasks with a company centric outlook whilst maintaining a sense of professionalism
- Showcases their ability to meet required deadlines through working in a timely manner and being organized
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to drive a strong culture, while acting respectful, patient, flexible, accountable and focused
- Use of initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude
- Ability to work unsupervised and be proactive
- Familiar with web-based document collaboration systems desirable
What you will do:
- General office, facility and utility management
- Coordinating data management and information transfer, including setting up and maintaining filing systems, document logs and action item list.
- Providing project support to construction teams as requested
- Coordinate project specific purchasing ordering of goods with just in time delivery schedule
- Assisting with site mobilisation, access and other onboarding requirements
- Document Control including setup and maintenance of a correspondence registers, transmittals and working with web-based document collaboration systems e.g., Aconex, ProjectWise, Incite, SharePoint etc.
- General assistance to project teams including managing leave calendar and resource tracking records, training and medicals, onboarding, and inductions of new project staff.
- Filing and retrieving documents, records and reports.
- Assisting with general administrative tasks and other duties as required.
- Coordinating daily tasks and logistics
- Data/input for monthly reports provided to meet company reporting cycles.
- Various other office and site duties
