The role:
With exciting growth plans, the company is looking to engage a Trainer & Assessor to join our Learning & Development team. This an exciting mobile role providing opportunities to discover and explore the wider WA region and to share your expertise and knowledge with each of our operational sites.

- Preparing and delivering training and assessment needs to operational and trades staff, including but not limited to trainees and apprentices.
- Assessing competencies in alignment to regulatory training requirements.
- Development of training and assessment resources and materials against qualifications and units of competency.
- Conducting verification of competencies for operational sites.
- Administration, data input, reporting and continual improvement requirements for assessing and training.
- Maintaining and updating employee training records and training plans on skills matrix.
- Maintain and update the company Training Database as required.
- Develop, implement and maintain site training plans with a focus on proficiency-based training outcomes.
- Undertake training in accordance with our trainee program and RTO partnership model.
- Creating and reporting on shift plans.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE40116.
- Cert III in Surface Extraction Operations - Highly regarded.
- Experience with and understanding of Verification of Competency (VOC) in the workplace.
- Experience in mobile plant operations.
- Previous mine site experience.
- Working knowledge of Learning Management principles.
- High level of administrative experience and sound computer skills.
- Proven experience planning and reporting in a training environment.
- Previous experience with trainees is highly regarded.
- Current Drivers License.
- Ability to pass a National Police Clearance.
- Ability to complete full pre-employment medical including drug screen.
